Kuchisabishii, a Japanese term for mindlessly eating. Urban Dictionary says it means, essentially, ‘lonely mouth’. Honestly, I feel that term is accurate. All my life, talking to doctors and weight loss advocates, whenever they would ask me why I was eating, I would explain that I wasn’t really hungry, but… ‘but, wait! here’s more!’

Today didn’t quite go as planned. I slept in instead of getting a jump on the day. I experimented with a pumpkin cookie recipe instead of doing a mint Kris Kringle. I never got to open a bottle of wine. And I only made one batch of cookies instead of… ‘but, wait! here’s more!’
