Relatively quick and easy. Enough that I have used the skein, but not too much that it is dragging the floor. Except for the above picture.

I was so impressed with myself for finishing that off (although, technically I haven’t as there are still strings and it needs a minute to run through the wash) I came home and started to work on finishing my afghan. And I would’ve finished it too, if it weren’t for those meddling cats!

After I had settled in front of the TV, with hot chocolate on the table and Sense8 on Netflix I was immediately assaulted by animals. This one was obviously helping me by holding down the blanket so I couldn’t turn it. As well as decreeing my hand would be better used to hold her head and lightly pet her jaw instead of holding the yarn as needed. Once I figured out she could be bribed with a warm heating pad, I was able to bring her into the bedroom.

Ginger, however, was not to be denied. After informing me, over and over, that she was unhappy with her food choices (yes, I said choices. You try and get a sick cat with very few teeth to eat), she walked back and forth across my lap until I finally gave up the ghost.

In good news, I’m almost done with the afghan. I only have 10 more rows or so to finish.

In bad news, I still have not figured out what it will take to get Ginger to really eat. I’ve mushed, I’ve put soft cheese on her food, and I’ve fed her way too much human food, but she is not settling in and she is not happy. We are due to go back to the vet soon, but I’m concerned about her well being. And mine as she is vocal about her lack of choices.
